‘CILLA ARNOLD

So ‘Cilla is short from Priscilla (yes, as in Priscilla Presley and Queen of the Desert)!  I started life in Sydney and then grew up in the Snowy Mountains of Australia where my family owned a country pub.  We moved to Newcastle, to Broadbeach on the Gold Coast, back to Cooma and then I completed my secondary education at boarding school.  I studied at uni, did some volunteer work, became a Youth Worker for a while, and travelled Central America and the USA.  Once home I fell into technology recruitment and haven’t ever really looked back!

I’ve worked across our wonderful continent and throughout the region for loads of Tech, Telco, Consulting and Digital ventures.  I have set up offices – including one in Seattle to hire for Microsoft and Boeing – and built branches around the world, and for years I worked in London and won work in the UK and Europe.  In more recent years I have been involved in the digital space dealing with Google, Dropbox, tech start-ups and overseeing teams onsite at eBay / Gumtree and Yahoo.  I have my master’s degree majoring in Psych, and last year studied a Certificate in Service Design.  I now live near the Royal National Park and love to run!

KARL FAGAN

Born in Liverpool in the UK, I grew up in the heart of London and am now a proud Aussie.  After working for more than half a decade in one of Britain’s leading investment banks, I decided to go backpacking and after many years aboard, popped back to see Mum and Dad for a white Christmas with a missus and two kids!

Despite studying Tourism and loving travel, my work experience lent itself to starting my staffing career in Banking and Finance recruitment and from there I moved into placing technology and digital professionals across all sectors. I can fill just about any job and am an extensive networker, flying from San Fran to Auckland to attend industry conferences and events. I have set up offices, launched brands, run onsite campaigns, and built technology and recruitment teams for several of my clients - including Accenture, Mastercard, Metcash, Salesforce and Vodafone - becoming, assisting, or extending the reach of their talent acquisition capability. 

I’m mad about sports, am highly competitive and a die-hard football fan!  I love to play or watch a good live game and enjoy taking my girls to see the Matildas!
